ENGLISHRY is the design studio and making workshops of C.H.I.P.
ENGLISHRY is an exploration of modern furniture, lighting, mirrors and other objet handmade by the craftsmen and women of England using both traditional and new, pioneering techniques and materials.
Everything is designed by C.H.I.P. and handmade, meaning no one piece is the same, the imperfections of humanity are apparent in all of our pieces. Technology is utilised but no AI is used as it just doesn’t have the knowledge or the eye or the ability to make. We believe in people.
The objective is to build a full collection of furniture, lighting, architectural fittings, mirrors, objet, wallpapers, textiles and freestanding kitchen, bathroom fixtures and finally exterior furniture and ephemera – everything required for an ENGLISHRY abode.
