3D Mirror – Altered Perception 1
The glass panel is made with hand drawn glass which gives an uneven finish and an altered reflection of the viewer. In addition cast 3d solid glass forms and symbols are applied to the surface of the mirror and backlit with coloured gels which can be specified to a variety of different colours. Clear shapes are also left in the glass creating wells that give a 3 dimensional depth to the mirror. The mirror is lit so at night you have an additional effect.

Etymology
A mirror derives from the Latin word mirare, meaning ‘to look at’ is made of 2D, (two dimensional) flat glass and silvered behind in order to reflect light and a reflection in reverse of the the objects and persons caught in its cast light. 3d or three dimensional refers to an object with three or more dimensions, ie not in flat plane.
