Dark Side of the Moon
The idea behind this piece was from the perspective of standing on the dark side of the moon and looking out at the universe. The horizon between the moon and space is lit with coloured lights mimicking the natural phenomena known as airglow.

Kiln formed glass hand silvered, LED lighting, & solid sycamore frame, lacquered and gloss polished to a colour of your choice.

ETYMOLOGY
Named after the song by Pink Floyd. The dark side of the moon is moon that we can’t see from Earth. It takes the moon roughly 29 days to orbit the Earth one revolution , and roughly the same time for the earth to rotate one revolution on its own axis hence we always see the same part of the moon.
