A floor lamp made out of the silhouette of cubes, known in mathematics as a ‘net, which is a 2 dimensional pattern that can be folded to form a 3 dimensional shape. The overall form is the average height of a human. The light is made from blocks in the same way a building or life are all constructed from with a light at its core that runs through it.

Materials
Solid walnut in a net cube irregular formation with a solid accrylic light rod at the centre. Driver is made from solid walnut with a brass rotary dimmer and silk braided flex leading from the lamp to the driver to the wall plug.

Etymology
A net in maths is a flat 2D shape that can be cut out and folded to form the 3D shape. Put another way, a net is a plane figure composed of polygons, that by folding and joining can form a polyhedron.
