St George & The Dragon
A dining, hallway or office chair. Designed and made in wood, the dramatic curves of the backrest and the seat contrast with the angular legs with drilled holes to reduce weight and extenuate the geometric form of the legs. The combination of angular and curved gives a distinctive character liked a muscular animal ready to pounce.

Etymology
St George is the patron saint of England but like many stories it is told in many languages and is part of many cultures folklore. St George defeats the dragon in a fight. The legs of the chair represent those of St George’s horse and his sword, the seat and back the coiled form of the dragon. It symbolises the fight between good and evil and like all good chairs, carries you.
