COLLECTORS ROUND TABLE
The collectors round table is in the style of the classical round tables designed for the hall of a large English house that were piled high with artefacts, curios, books, flowers and ephemera. This version takes that idea with the oversized, round legs seemingly continuing through the tabletop to create 7 plinths to display a collectors collection of ceramics or sculpture or artefacts, curios, books, flowers and ephemera. In actual fact the legs do not go through the tabletop they are just removable, matching plinths that locate in line with the legs using a magnet. This allows for the table to be cleared of some or all the plinths in case it’s required as a conventional table or for a party et cetera.
