The silhouette of the Shadow Lamp is the familiar shape of a floor lamp but it is made up of angled solid walnut fins that fan out from a central cavity that houses the lighting. The space between the solid fins is filled with a warm white light that casts shadows between the negative space and the solid fins. There is a monolithic quality to this lamp from a distance but up close the intriguing pattern that forms the detail of the shape is extenuated by the gaps and light between them.

solid walnut fins, laminated and cut and then oiled to seal. LED lighting.
